Our flight simulator gauge software is designed to run on your Flight Information Panels (Saitek, Madcatz or Logitech). When I am running the descent on the simulator, the Saitek controls suddenly seem to disconnect from the sim and the plane crashes. FIP is a very expensive device (around $200!) no problem, buy spadnext (full version) and learn to program the panels with spadnext (youtube). I can't comment on the drivers, but, I was looking at the same setup you have (logitech + honeycomb yoke) and was about to start purchasing it, then I thought I better wait, knowing MS they will probably make some proprietary hardware that we have to buy just for FS2020. What a waste of Money! Gauges can also be run on a PC Monitor as a SPAD.neXt virtual FIP.An additional SPAD.neXt subscription is required for virtual FIPs.Please check my compatibility links above. I decided to create this topic out of 100% utter frustration. If I unplug the joystick, then FS2020 starts without any problems. Also, make sure to use bus-powered USB hub for FIPs, because FIP is very power-hungry.
Drivers for saitek x52 update#
If you update your driver to the newer version 8.0.150.0 after installation of my gauges, you will have to reinstall ALL the gauges again. ( Log Out / If you love aviation you've come to the right place, fly safe and be sure to subscribe. The need to purchased a kind of external driver to make use of the panel and fip was very silly.
